Bangkok: "Anusorn" criticizes the bland debate, insisting that the Pitak team does not need to adjust its plans. Mr. Anusorn Aimsa-ard, MP for the Pheu Thai Party, humorously suggested that the parliament urgently request fish sauce for the opposition, as the current debate, described as bland, needed more than just a sprinkle of salt. He expressed confidence that the Prime Minister and ministers could address all questions posed during the debate.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anusorn urged media outlets to highlight the need for fish sauce, as the salt-sprinkling strategy proved insufficient. He referenced various media evaluations, drawing comparisons to the opposition's previous firm and serious performance during debates on Sor Por Kor 4-01. He noted that the current opposition's performance was a waste of parliament's time, with lengthy debates that lacked substance.
Mr. Anusorn further stated that the Pheu Thai Party's Regulation Protection Team did not need to adjust their strategies, as they had effectively managed their time compared to the opposition. He emphasized that the Protection Team would only intervene when necessary, ensuring adherence to parliamentary regulations. The Pheu Thai Party remained confident in the Prime Minister and ministers' ability to answer all questions without the need for government party MPs to speak on their behalf.
Mr. Anusorn also criticized the debate's lack of depth, noting accusations against the Prime Minister, such as tax evasion, which were based on harsh and defamatory language. He argued that such accusations were slanderous and emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum during parliamentary debates. He highlighted the need for fairness and careful consideration of language to avoid devaluation and slander.
In response to the use of the term "Kiki," Mr. Anusorn emphasized the importance of fairness in evaluating the appropriateness of language used during debates. He noted that the Prime Minister worked collaboratively with civil servants and was responsible for assigning tasks and evaluating results, without the expectation of handling every matter personally.
Despite acknowledging some criticisms, Mr. Anusorn maintained that the coalition government party's performance in protecting meeting regulations was appropriate. He confirmed the coalition parties' support and urged caution in protests to adhere to existing guidelines, ensuring compliance with parliamentary regulations.
