According to Thai News Agency, a disturbing clip showing a man repeatedly throwing a dog into the sea has caused significant public outrage. Watchdog Thailand lodged a complaint against both the individual in the video and the person responsible for its release at the Samut Prakan City Police Station.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong Phiwpaen, Commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), has tasked Pol. Lt. Col. Kittisak Sukthai, Superintendent of Investigation Division 3, TCSD Division 2, with overseeing the case as a technology crime.
