824 Bomb Craters Found in Cambodian Bombardment of Thailand in 4 Border Provinces

Bangkok: The Royal Thai Army's Facebook page, "???????" (Tan Kratong), reported that EOD officers recovered bombs and found 824 bomb craters caused by Cambodian bombs in four Thai border provinces, most of which were in civilian areas and hospitals.

According to Thai News Agency, the Facebook page "Royal Thai Army Up to Date" detailed that EOD officers entered the bomb disposal area and discovered 824 bomb craters caused by Cambodian bombs. The craters led to damage and instilled fear among residents who were gradually returning to the affected areas to assess the damage to their homes.

The information posted on the page highlighted the damage in four border provinces: Surin, Buriram, Sisaket, and Ubon Ratchathani. This damage resulted from Cambodian weapons targeting civilian areas, compelling local residents to flee. As the situation stabilizes, residents are beginning to return to their homes, but they continue to face the peril of unexploded ordnance. EOD officers are diligently working to expedite the defusal process to ensure residents can safely return to their homes.
