Bangkok: A 21-year-old woman was saved by electric boat staff after jumping into the Chao Phraya River from the Phra Nang Klao Bridge. The timely intervention by the crew prevented a potential tragedy. According to Thai News Agency, the incident took place at 11:55 a.m. when Mr. Panyachon Rattanaphon and Mr. Sitthiphong Meesuk, mechanics at Thai Smile Boat, were on duty charging their electric boats. They were alerted by a motorcycle taxi driver who shouted for help, indicating someone had jumped off the bridge. The woman was seen struggling in the river, prompting the boat staff to act quickly. Mr. Rattanaphon grabbed a life jacket and lifebuoy and jumped into the water to assist her. After rescuing the woman, the staff coordinated with rescue units to ensure she received the necessary care.
