Bangkok: The curtain has now been raised on the spectacular Luk Krung concert "Yod Petch 11 Karat Vol.2" Timeless Legend, Eternal Melodies, organized by MCOT Public Company Limited and Sonic Youth 1999 Co., Ltd., under the acclaimed organizer Kong Piya Sawetphikun. The concert brought together 11 of the most popular Luk Krung artists in history, led by five national artists: Suda Chuenban, Winai Panturak, Rungrudee Paengphongsai, Jintana Suksatit, and Wirach Yuthaworn, along with legendary Luk Krung artists Wichai Punyayan, Jittima Chueajai, Sarawanee Phothidet, Umaporn Buaphueng, Thipphawan Pinpiban, and the new-generation artist Spy Phasakon, who performed beautiful Luk Krung songs to the hearts of Luk Krung fans. The event took place at M Theatre on Petchburi Road. According to Thai News Agency, on November 1, 2015, the first show was held, and the surrounding area was packed with die-hard Luk Thung fans, all dressed in black to enjoy this legendary concert. Before the show, the artists, staff, and audien ce stood in silence to mourn and pay their respects to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. They then immersed themselves in the beautiful Luk Thung songs selected by the 11-carat talents, including "Rak Kham Khop Fah," "Tam Bun Duai Arai," "Reng Lila," "Nan Nai Tee Ror," "Chiwit Lakorn," "Lan Ya Mo," and "Si Phaendin." Before the show, the artists shared with Nine Entertain news that despite changes in the format and details, the entire team and artists worked diligently to maintain the beauty and fun of the songs. This was a priceless gift to the audience.
