He adopted a chemical-free, organic approach using compost, organic fertilizers, and self-produced hormones, resulting in crops that are in high demand fo r their rapid growth and quality. His water spinach, known for its plump shoots, sweet flavor, and crispiness, is sold for more than 1,000 baht daily. The vegetables, sold at 10 baht per bundle or 12 bundles for 100 baht wholesale, are popular among vendors in the fresh market of Satuek District, Buriram Province, and are also available for online orders. Mr. Songklod encourages others who miss their hometowns to consider farming as a viable and profitable return to their roots. In addition to water spinach, he also grows morning glory, finding satisfaction and financial stability without the burdens of urban living costs.
