Varawut Awaits Constitutional Court’s Decision on Hun Sen Audio Clip

Bangkok: Varawut revealed that Pheu Thai has not yet sent a signal to the coalition government regarding the Hun Sen audio clip, waiting to hear from the Constitutional Court on August 29.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Social Development and Human Security (MSDH), and leader of the Chartthaipattana Party, addressed the Constitutional Court's decision on August 29th concerning a conversation between Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, and Samdech Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Senate. He questioned whether there were any signals from the Pheu Thai Party and what the political situation would be like if a traffic accident occurred.

Mr. Varawut stated that there were no signals at this time and he was unsure whether discussions would take place before the cabinet meeting. He further mentioned that there were no guidelines or signals regarding the Constitutional Court's decision and that no discussions had taken place. He anticipated that discussions would resume after August 29th.
