US-UK Authorities Seize Assets of International Scammer Network Tied to Prince Holding Group

Bangkok: Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) explains US-UK seizure of assets of international scammer network. Following media reports that the US Department of Justice has filed charges against Mr. Chen Zhi (Vincent), founder of Prince Holding Group, for electronic fraud and money laundering, and has implemented civil asset forfeiture measures to seize assets, including cryptocurrencies, worth approximately 490 billion baht. The US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has also issued financial sanctions against individuals and affiliates involved in the transnational criminal network. Additionally, the UK government has seized real estate and assets related to the crime group worth over 4 billion baht.

According to Thai News Agency, the AMLO has coordinated with relevant agencies both domestically and internationally to gather evidence and consider taking action in accordance with anti-money laundering laws. Regarding the list of individuals announced by the U.S. Treasury, the AMLO will notify the reporting authority to monitor, track, and investigate suspicious transactions to the AMLO. If any money laundering offenses are found, the AMLO will take strict legal action.
