Air Chief Marshal Panphakdi Pattanakul, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (C-in-C) revealed about the assistance for the people affected by the flood in the northern region at this time that the Air Force has mobilized its forces and equipment to help the people to the fullest extent of its ability. It has integrated assistance from all sectors to help the people in the flood-affected areas as quickly as possible. The Air Force has arranged for an EC-725 helicopter from the 41st Air Force Base in Chiang Mai Province to carry out a mission to fly and take aerial photographs in the flood-affected areas of the North, including Mueang District, Phrae Province, Sirikit Dam, Tha Pla District, Uttaradit Province, Mueang District, Nan Province, Sukhothai Province, and nearby areas to support photographic data of the flood situation for relevant units to use in assessing the situation and planning to help people in the flooded areas. He also ordered Wing 3, the Drone Squadron in Watthana Nakhon District, Sa Kaeo Province, to fly to take aerial photographs to survey the mass of water that will flow down to various areas to send to relevant agencies to compile the situation in order to cope with the mass of water that will flow down to various areas in the central region and other regions. For assistance and relief for the people in the flood-stricken areas, orders have been given to Wing 46, in its capacity as the Director of the Disaster Relief Center, to arrange for an aircraft transport using a Type 2 transport aircraft from Squadron 461 (Royal Rainmaking Aircraft) to transport consumer goods, deliver relief bags, and ships for disaster relief, as the flooding on the ground has spread to many areas and has spread to many provinces.
