The Prime Minister has ordered the Ministry of Interior, especially the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, to manage temporary shelters, basic utilities, food, water, medicine and clothing for those affected by the disaster. He has also assigned the Ministry of Defense to mobilize planes, flat-bottom boats, jet skis and helicopters to urgently help flood victims. The Prime Minister also assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to urgently find ways to repair dams and floodgates to slow down the water and reduce the intensity of the water . He also assigned the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Defense, in the part of the Army Development Command, to urgently repair broken roads and bridges so that the people can travel more conveniently, especially at this time when people must be evacuated quickly. The Prime Minister has assigned all agencies to prepare data to enable systematic coordination in order to help the people as quickly as possible. Then at 2:00 p.m., the Prime Minister will hold a meeting with civil servants at the operational level at Parliament House to give instructions and follow up on the results of assistance to the people.
