TAT Promotes Eco-Friendly Tourism with ‘CF-Hotels, Sleep and Chill, Save the World’ Campaign in Krabi Province.

Krabi: The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched a new initiative aimed at promoting eco-friendly tourism in Krabi Province. The campaign, titled 'CF-Hotels, Sleep and Chill, Save the World,' features Thai celebrity 'Cherry' Khemupsorn Sirisukha as its ambassador. The campaign focuses on sustainable tourism practices in Krabi, encouraging tourists to choose environmentally-conscious accommodations. According to Thai News Agency, TAT's initiative includes a collaboration with CF-Hotels operators, local partners, and media representatives to showcase eco-friendly accommodations in the region. Two notable establishments highlighted during the campaign are Varana Krabi, a hotel operating under the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) concept, and Deevana Plaza Krabi Ao Nang, known for its environmentally responsible hospitality and conference services. The campaign aims to inspire tourists to select CF-Hotels, thereby contributing to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions linked to tourism. Ms. Sanyada Benjakul , Director of Corporate Affairs at Vietjet Thailand, expressed the airline's support for TAT's project. This aligns with Vietjet's environmental policy, which includes reducing emissions from flight operations and promoting conservation activities. Vietjet Thailand has begun using sustainable aviation fuel, which significantly cuts carbon emissions. This initiative is part of Vietjet Group's commitment to achieving Net Zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050.
