Bangkok: The Suankularb Wittayalai Alumni Association recently hosted the SK Speak event titled "Can You Fight Or Can You Just Fight" as part of the 144th anniversary celebrations of Suankularb Wittayalai School. The event was chaired by General Surayud Chulanont, President of the Privy Council, and featured discussions from various industry leaders.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, CEO of Bangchak Group and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, who also serves as the President of the Suankularb Wittayalai Alumni Association under Royal Patronage, announced that the funds raised from the event would be directed towards the construction of a new alumni association office. The project demands a budget of 100 million baht, and so far, 35 million baht has been collected from alumni, leaving 65 million baht still needed.
The SK Speak Dinner Talk began with a lecture titled 'The New Suankularb Wittayalai Alumni Association' delivered by Mr. Teerapol Niyom, a National Artist. The event featured a Panel Talk moderated by Mr. Weera Thiraphat and Ms. Chutima Phuengkhamsuk, divided into three insightful sections.
The first section, "Looking at the Garden, Part 1, Capital Market Perspective," included talks by Mr. Wisit Wisitsora-at, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Dr. Yanyong Thaicharoen, Chief Economic and Sustainability Officer at Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, and Dr. Pipat Luengnarumitchai, Managing Director and Chief Economist at Kiatnakin Financial Group.
In the second section, "Looking at the Garden, Part 2, Business Perspective," discussions were led by Dr. Chairat Pantura-amporn, Chairman of Samitivej Hospital Group and BNH Hospital, and Mr. Nat Wongpanich, Managing Director of Central Restaurants Group Co., Ltd.
The event concluded with "Looking at the Garden, Part 3, Perspectives from Agencies Related to the Government," featuring Mr. Surachet Laopoonsuk, Governor of the Expressway Authority of Thailand, Dr. Poonpat Leesombatpaiboon, Secretary-General of the Energy Regulatory Commission, and Dr. Rak Worakitphokatorn, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited.
