Nakhon ratchasima: Authorities are urgently seeking the driver of a white pickup truck involved in a fatal collision with a motorcycle at an intersection, leading to the death of a 64-year-old man. The incident occurred in Nikhom Sang Ton Eng Subdistrict, Phimai District, and the driver fled the scene. According to Thai News Agency, CCTV footage from the Jamnong Bhumiwet Village Hall captured the moment when the pickup truck collided head-on with a motorcycle, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, identified as Mr. Sanong, from Nikhom Subdistrict. The crash occurred around 8:00 p.m. The footage shows the pickup truck, whose license plate remains unidentified, speeding away after the incident. Local police officers, upon inspecting the scene, found Mr. Sanong lying in the middle of the road with severe injuries. Nearby, the remains of his black motorcycle, significantly damaged by the impact, were discovered. Despite immediate first aid efforts by Phimai Rescue and transportation to Phimai Hospital, Mr . Sanong succumbed to his injuries. Witnesses reported that Mr. Sanong was on his way home when the pickup truck, traveling at high speed, collided with his motorcycle at the intersection. The police have initiated a thorough review of CCTV footage along the suspected escape route of the pickup truck to locate the driver for questioning and potential legal proceedings.
