Metropolitan Police Bureau: The Metropolitan Police Bureau and the Department of Health Service Support (DHSS) raided a one-stop service center for Chinese people in the RCA area. Everything was there except for the license. According to Thai News Agency, police from the Investigation Division of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, along with Dr. Phanuwat Panket, Director-General of the Department of Health Service Support, Ms. Chanadda Suebsuk, Legal Officer, Mr. Chatree Pinyai, Legal Officer, joined forces with officers from the Crime Suppression Division of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Police from the Consumer Protection Police Division, and Police from Makkasan Police Station to jointly investigate and inspect a Chinese service center in the RCA area, which was set up as a full-service health center, arresting 7 suspects. Ms. REN XUEMEI, 42, a Chinese national, was charged with 'being a foreigner operating a health care establishment without permission'. Ms. WEN CHUN, 28 years old, and Ms. GAO JUAN, 44 years old, both Chinese nationals, were charged with 'alien working without a work permit or working beyond what is allowed to do'. Additionally, four Shan nationals, Ms. Hom, 18, Ms. Moo Daeng, 19, Ms. Kham Kaew, 20, and Ms. Chantakan, 19, were charged with 'committing the offense of being an alien who entered the Kingdom of Thailand without permission and being an alien who worked without a work permit or working beyond what is allowed to do'. Authorities seized 14 items of evidence, including advertising brochures, QR Codes for payment, CCTV memory cards, massage account books, and white gowns worn while performing beauty handicrafts. During the arrest, Ms. REN XUEMEI confessed to all charges, stating that there was never any request for permission to invest in Thailand because China has a lot of competitors, making opening in Thailand potentially more profitable. She also revealed that the doctor providing injections to customers was not a real doctor, and the gown worn by the doctor was ordered. Follo wing the arrest, the suspects and the evidence were taken to the investigation officer at Makkasan Police Station for further legal action.
