Jiraporn reveals that the people voted to suppress e-cigarettes as the most satisfactory result for March 2015, emphasizing that the government will continue to suppress them and is ready to report clues via the government's app.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that from the results of the survey of public satisfaction with government policies for March 2025 by Line Today, which was conducted between March 1-24, 2025, it was found that more than 26.69% of the people voted for the suppression of e-cigarettes as number 1. This was followed by the measure to reduce the price of gasoline and diesel by 1 baht as a Songkran gift, accounting for 21.62%, and the measure to expand the gold card rights, see a doctor online and deliver medicine to your home, accounting for 12.13%.

Ms. Jiraporn stated that suppressing the spread of e-cigarettes is one of the orders that Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, has given importance to, especially preventing the spread among children and youth. The government has therefore taken action to crack down, making 2,236 arrests and seizing 1,608,445 items worth a total of 295,686,734 million baht in just over a month, which is considered the highest number of arrests and seizures over the past two years.

'In addition to the proactive crackdown on e-cigarettes by the authorities, we have also opened up opportunities for the public to report on shops that are illegally selling e-cigarettes, both online and physical shops, via the government's application,' said Ms. Jiraporn.
