PTT Group Advances Towards Net Zero with CCUS and Low-Carbon Hydrogen Initiatives

Bangkok: PTT Group has taken a significant step towards achieving its Net Zero target by signing a memorandum of understanding focused on the feasibility study of Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technology and the development of low-carbon hydrogen technology.

According to Thai News Agency, the signing ceremony was led by Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, President and Chief Executive Officer of PTT Public Company Limited. The initiative aims to study the appropriate cost structure, economic value, and competitiveness of PTT Group. It emphasizes PTT Group's commitment to enhancing energy security and promoting sustainability in Thailand on a global scale.

The event was attended by senior executives from various subsidiaries of PTT Group, including PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, Thai Oil Public Company Limited, IRPC Public Company Limited, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited, and PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited.
