According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra posted her condolences after a study bus from Por Charoen Municipality in Bueng Kan Province overturned while driving down a hill in Nadi District, Prachin Buri Province, resulting in many deaths and injuries. The message stated: We would like to express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and injured. It has been reported that the injured have been treated as emergency patients. For those who were not severely injured, they will be provided with assistance to return home safely.

He has instructed the Ministry of Transport to investigate the incident. If it is found that there was a violation by using vehicles that do not meet the standards or are involved in reckless use of vehicles, legal action will be taken. He has also instructed the inspection of vehicles that must be safe and pass the specified standards before they are put into use to prevent accidents and reduce losses like this again.
