Bangkok: The Prime Minister presented the 'Value of the Nation' award for the year 2023, urging everyone to work steadily to inspire those around them. The government is ready to support initiatives that contribute to the happiness of the people. According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, presided over the ceremony to present the honorary certificate of honor as "Value of the Nation" for the year 2023. This award aims to recognize individuals and entities who have performed commendable deeds and achieved outstanding work that is acknowledged by the public and the nation. The award serves as an inspiration and a model for good deeds in society, encompassing children and youth. Attendees at the ceremony included Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, Mr. Chusak Sirinil, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, and Mrs. Yupha Thaweewattanakitbaworn, Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office. A total of 27 individuals, agencies, and projects were selected for recognition in seven areas: social development and promotion of quality of life, promotion of science and technology, promotion and development of public health, promotion of religion, art and culture, promotion and development of agriculture, promotion and development of education, and promotion and dissemination of Thailand's honor. Among these, 20 recipients received plaques of honor, while 7 were awarded certificates of honor. The Prime Minister expressed his honor in presenting these awards, highlighting the dedication and determination of the recipients. He acknowledged the significant role played by the awardees, whether individuals, projects, or various agencies, in collaborating with the government to enhance the well-being and happiness of the people. The Prime Minister emphasized that the people are the core of the government and the nation, and he encouraged everyone to continue their efforts to inspire others. He expressed pride in the recipients and extended his commendations and gratitude for their hard work. The Prime Minister also invited collaboration with the government to further policies for the nation's benefit. Mrs. Yupha Thaweewattanakitbaworn, Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, stated that the Value of the Land Award honors those who perform good deeds and serve as an inspiration and a model for future generations, including children and youth.
