Or if consumers open the product box after paying and find that the product has a problem, they can request a refund within 5 days (from the date of receipt of the product). If it is found that the incident is as reported, the shipping company must refund the consumer within 15 days. The measure will be effective from tomorrow (October 3, 2567) onwards. Mr. Wisit Wisitsora-at, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, said that after the announcement of the measures, it was found that the rate of being scammed to order products tended to improve. He believed that if the buying and selling process could be managed correctly, criminals using this system would disappear. The goal is that from October onwards, such cases will decrease by 40-50 percent, making online shopping more reliable and resulting in economic expansion as well. This announcement will help solve the problem of dishonest sellers who deceive consumers an d protect consumers who are unfairly treated or damaged by ordering products or receiving delivery services from business operators so that consumers receive compensation and remedy for damages quickly and fairly.
