Mae Hong Son, The mobile medical unit of the Royal Thai Army had to walk through a flood while visiting Mae Hong Son Province. The incident occurred when the mobile medical unit of the Por Sor Wor had to walk through the rising water in the stream and there was continuous heavy rain after finishing the service from Ban Sala Chiang Tong to Ban Mae Pae, Tambon Sao Hin, Amphoe Mae Sariang, Mae Hong Son Province. All the medical team had to hold on to each other in a long line and walk across the stream to get to the other side. In addition, traveling by car was still difficult because the road was muddy. Crossing the stream required caution because most of the heavy trucks were carrying supplies and medicines. The vehicles got stuck in the sand that was swept away by the current. Four-wheel drive vehicles and tractors had to be used to tow them across the stream. The most difficult point and the most congested was the route before reaching the Om Pe Unit 2, the stream. However, the mobile medical unit officers of the Por Sor Wor and the Mae Sariang District officials who traveled to join the activity returned safely. It took 11 hours to travel out of the area, a distance of 90 kilometers. In this mobile medical unit activity of the Princess Mother's Volunteer Doctors Foundation, Dr. Yut Phodharamik, Secretary of the Princess Mother's Volunteer Doctors Foundation, led the Princess Mother's Volunteer Doctors Foundation's medical team in organizing the 22nd Mobile Medical Unit Activity to dedicate merit to Her Royal Highness Princess Mother's Srinagarindra, Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana, the Princess of Narathiwat and to honor Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, the Princess Srisavangavadhana, from July 22-27.
