According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, posted a message via X stating that she and the Thai government would like to express their deepest condolences and mourn the death of Mr. Nattapong Pinta, a Thai hostage in the Gaza Strip. The Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv has contacted the family of the deceased to inform them of the news and proceed with the next steps. The Thai government is committed to demanding the return of all Thai hostages still in the Gaza Strip to Thailand. Thailand calls on all parties to return to negotiations to achieve a peaceful and sustainable solution. The Royal Thai Government and the Prime Minister have expressed sadness over the passing of Mr. Nattapong Pinta.
