Feb. 13 - PEA does not cut off electricity to places or houses with patients who need electricity to run medical equipment for treatment . The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has criteria for exemptions from cutting off electricity. (Do not cut off electricity) to places or houses where there are patients who need electricity to run medical equipment for medical treatment as follows . Electricity consumers can register at every PEA office in their area. Documents required for registration are as follows: ?? National identification card of the electricity user. ??Patient identification card or copy of medical certificate from the hospital. Valid for no more than 1 month from the date of issuance of a medical certificate stating that the patient requires electricity to operate medical equipment for medical treatment. ??Evidence showing where electricity is used, such as electricity bill receipts. or a power purchase agreement or a copy of the house registration of the place where electricity is used ??In the case of authorizing others to act on your behalf. There must be evidence of the identity of the power of attorney and the attorney-in-fact . PEA reserves the right to inspect electricity use locations. Submit registration to continue maintaining rights by January 31 of every year. In cases where there is no need to use electricity to run medical equipment Cancellation must be notified to PEA within 30 days from the date of termination of necessity. PEA will cancel rights in the following cases: ??Overdue electricity bills for a total of 3 months ??Wrongful actions/violations of electricity use detected. ?? Report false information. ??Detected that patients have canceled the use of medical equipment. But there was no cancellation notification with PEA. Source: Thai News Agency
