Bangkok: “Pattana” declined to answer questions after “Anutin” set a KPI to restore free dialysis within 2 months. If unable to do so, the seat will be taken away. Public Health Minister Pattana Promphat addressed Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul’s announcement that he would reinstate the free dialysis policy, with a KPI that must be achieved within two months, or else he would return to being Minister of Public Health. Mr. Pattana smiled but did not respond to the question.
According to Thai News Agency, when asked whether the two-month KPI would put pressure on performance, including the Ministry of Public Health’s “Quick Win” policy for the next four months, Mr. Phatthana declined to answer the question and promptly got into his car and left Parliament.
