Bangkok: "PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL 2025 and CorruTec ASIA 2025" launched with the participation of 300 leading global companies in the printing and packaging industry, aiming to position Thailand as a central hub for innovation, manufacturing, and investment. The event is anticipated to draw over 12,000 visitors worldwide, strengthening Thailand's role as a regional leader in the industry.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Kriangkrai Thienukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries, presided over the opening ceremony of the 10th Asia International Packaging and Corrugated Packaging Exhibition. The event, organized by Messe Dsseldorf Asia in collaboration with the Thai Printing Association, the Thai Packaging Association, and the Thai Corrugated Packaging Association, showcased pioneering innovations and provided a platform for business opportunities. The policy underpinning the event seeks to enhance the competitiveness of Thailand's printing and packaging industry on an international scale.
Mr. Kriangkrai highlighted Southeast Asia's emerging status as a production and consumption hub, boasting a GDP of over US$4.25 trillion and a population exceeding 690 million. Positioned strategically, Thailand serves as a crucial link in industrial chains, particularly in printing, packaging, and corrugated packaging, which are vital to various markets, including food, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, e-commerce, and logistics. The increasing demand for high-quality, eco-friendly packaging and investment in smart printing technology reflects evolving consumer preferences and a shift in the global market towards value-driven, sustainable products.
These industry trends present an opportunity to propel Thailand's key sectors forward, aligning with global consumer demands. Emphasizing environmentally friendly production, digital and intelligent printing technologies, and workforce development, the initiative is guided by the "4GO" policy: GO Digital and AI, GO Innovation, GO Global, and GO Green. This strategic framework aims to prepare entrepreneurs for international competition while fostering collaboration among public, private, and educational sectors to develop a skilled workforce. Infrastructure and supportive measures are designed to encourage investment and innovation, establishing a resilient industrial ecosystem.
