Operation Targets ‘Cowboy Bo Kaew’ Drug Gang in Northern Region

Chiang Mai: Officials launched an operation to crack down on the 'Cowboy Bo Kaew' network, a major drug trafficking gang in the North, and seized assets worth over 100 million baht after discovering that over the past two years, ice had been transported from the border to the central region no less than 20 times. Out of the three arrests, over 3,000 kilograms of ice were seized.

According to Thai News Agency, the operation targeted the network known as 'Cowboy Bo Kaew,' which has been a significant player in drug trafficking in the northern region. The coordinated effort by authorities led to the confiscation of substantial assets and the disruption of a major drug supply chain.

The investigation revealed that the gang had been systematically transporting drugs across the region, exploiting border routes to facilitate the movement of large quantities of ice. This operation marks a significant step in dismantling the group's operations and curbing the spread of illegal drugs in the area.
