OIC Launches ‘OK Ranger’ Animation to Educate Children on Insurance

Bangkok: The Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) is launching an innovative animation series, 'OK Ranger', aimed at educating children about the risks and dangers in their surroundings while integrating essential insurance knowledge for young minds.

According to Thai News Agency, the OIC is advancing its mission to foster an understanding of insurance among Thai youth, particularly targeting young children, by introducing the 'OK Ranger' animation. This series is designed to impart foundational insurance knowledge through engaging and accessible storytelling. Comprised of 15 episodes, 'OK Ranger' builds upon the success of the picture books that the OIC released last year.

The transition from illustrated books to animation intends to broaden the reach and effectiveness of the educational content, aiding children in recognizing nearby dangers, understanding basic risk management, and grasping insurance concepts in simple terms. The initiative not only extends the reach of the OIC's educational efforts but also seeks to instill a mindset of risk management and financial discipline from a young age.

The animation series is crafted by a specialized team proficient in creating child-friendly media, ensuring that the content is age-appropriate and conducive to cognitive development. This makes it a valuable educational tool for both family settings and classroom environments, promoting long-term awareness and understanding of insurance among Thai youth.

The OIC encourages parents and children to tune into 'OK Ranger', available for free on Thai PBS TV, ALTV, and a new educational channel on digital TV number 4, airing every Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:10 a.m. The series is also accessible on YouTube via the channel oic.thailand, offering a modern, convenient, and engaging learning experience for all Thai children.
