The Cabinet has ordered all government offices, state enterprises, government agencies, and educational institutions to lower their flags to half-mast for 30 days, starting October 25, 2025. Civil servants, state enterprise employees, and government officials will observe a one-year period of mourning, effective the same date.
According to Thai News Agency, the government is seeking cooperation from the entertainment sector, entertainment venues, and various service establishments to either refrain from or reduce entertainment activities for 30 days, aligning with the mourning period. Organizers of pre-arranged activities have been advised to consider adjusting their events to suit the occasion. New events are encouraged to be postponed until the mourning period concludes.
