Bang Bua Thong: A mysterious body was found lying face down floating in the water on the median strip under the overpass on Bang Bua Thong-Suphan Buri Road, inbound. Initially, no identification documents were found. According to Thai News Agency, Bang Bua Thong Police Station received a report of a man drowning on the median strip under the overpass heading towards Highway 345, opposite Suetrong Village, Laharn Subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi Province. They coordinated with doctors from the Institute of Forensic Medicine and volunteers from the Por Tek Tung Foundation to inspect the spot. The body was found in a ditch with water approximately 1.50 meters deep, wearing a navy blue long-sleeved shirt, boxer shorts, and long jeans with rolled-up cuffs. The body showed signs of decomposition, suggesting it had been submerged for at least three days. No identification documents were found, but 140 baht was discovered on him. A noodle vendor mentioned that the deceased resembled a vagrant known to sleep under the bridge. The man, described as tall and big, often sought noodles and money for alcohol. He had been missing for 3-4 days, but the vendor could not confirm if it was the same person due to the body's bloated condition. Mr. Wiraphong Prasertsuk, a volunteer rescue worker from the Por Tek Tung Foundation, indicated that a team was dispatched to investigate after being notified of the discovery. The body was located in a 1.20-meter deep ditch, used for road drainage. It is estimated that the man had been dead for 3-4 days. Local villagers suspect the deceased was homeless and living under the bridge, but it remains unclear whether he fell into the water or if foul play was involved. The body is awaiting further medical examination.
