As for Bangkok and its vicinity, there will be thunderstorms with heavy rain in some areas. The Meteorological Department forecasts that in the next 24 hours, Thailand will experience thunderstorms and heavy rain in the central, eastern and southern regions. People in the aforementioned areas should be careful of the dangers of heavy rain and accumulated rain, which may cause flash floods and forest runoff, especially in areas on hillsides near waterways and lowlands. They should also take care of their health due to the changing weather conditions. This is because high pressure or cold air mass from China covers the upper North and upper Northeast regions, resulting in easterly and southeasterly winds blowing moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to cover the lower North, lower Northeast, Central and Eastern regions, a long with the monsoon trough across the upper Gulf of Thailand, the East and the upper South. For waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, they are moderate. In the Andaman Sea, waves are 1-2 meters high, while in the Gulf of Thailand, waves are approximately 1 meter high. In areas with thunderstorms, waves are higher than 2 meters. Sailors in the aforementioned areas are advised to sail with caution and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.
