Massive Methamphetamine Bust in Narathiwat Province Uncovers 100,000 Pills and Additional Crystal Meth.

Narathiwat: Police have successfully intercepted a significant drug operation, seizing 100,000 methamphetamine pills and an additional 9 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine. The operation led to the arrest of two suspects who were receiving a parcel originating from Trang Province. According to Thai News Agency, authorities detained Mr. Asawan, 35, and Mr. Waruslan, 34, at a residence in Tambon Kawa, Amphoe Su-ngai Padi, Narathiwat Province. The suspects were in possession of 100,000 methamphetamine pills, which had been dispatched via a private delivery service from Trang Province. In coordination with Trang Provincial Police, officers reviewed CCTV footage and conducted thorough investigations, which revealed additional drugs concealed and ready for distribution. The investigation expanded to a banana plantation in Kantang District, where officers discovered 9 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 25,400 methamphetamine pills. These substances were hidden in black plastic bags and concealed in the gra ss. The operation led to the arrest of two more suspects, Mr. Sarawit, 20, and Ms. Kanokwan, 25. Both individuals were taken to Su-ngai Padi Police Station as authorities continued their efforts to identify and apprehend the operation's mastermind.
