Bangkok: "Madam Oi" has publicly declared her intent to initiate legal proceedings against "Lawyer Tum" following a recent meeting with the Central Investigation Bureau. This development comes in the wake of allegations related to the designation of an estate executor in a case involving 'Pantep.' According to Thai News Agency, Madam Oi, also known as Ms. Chatuphon, visited the Central Investigation Bureau to provide critical information regarding previous statements made by Mr. Panthep Puaphongphan, Dean of the College of Oriental Medicine at Rangsit University. Mr. Panthep had alleged that Mr. Sittra Biabangkerd, known as Lawyer Tum, had improperly named Madam Oi as the executor of an estate. This prompted authorities to investigate whether any fraudulent activities were involved. The investigation required an extensive police interrogation of Madam Oi, lasting over 12 hours, concluding at 10:30 pm. Following the exhaustive session, Madam Oi, accompanied by three associates, briefly addressed the media o utside the Pracharak building of the Crime Suppression Division. She affirmed her commitment to prosecuting Mr. Sittra to the fullest legal extent and shared plans to return to France the following day. Pol. Lt. Col. Suwat Saengnum, Deputy Commander of the Central Investigation Bureau, elaborated on the proceedings, stating that Madam Oi's testimony was crucial in scrutinizing previous statements for any inconsistencies and ensuring the investigation's comprehensiveness. He also noted that while the issue of the will appointing Mr. Sittra as the estate executor had not surfaced in earlier investigations, further inquiries might explore its relevance to the current case. Notably, Madam Oi was the sole individual called to provide testimony on this occasion, as arranged by the police.
