Bangkok: "Jirayu" has urged people not to fall for fake news regarding the cancellation of trips to Koh Kood. He emphasized that the island's accommodations remain fully booked, with many tourists on waiting lists. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, advisor to the Prime Minister, refuted rumors that had caused tourists to reconsider their travel plans. He clarified that these rumors were baseless and that the island's popularity has, in fact, increased globally, spurring more interest in travel to Koh Kood. Mr. Jirayu highlighted that false reports, including claims of military activity and evacuations, were completely unfounded. He confirmed that no tourists have canceled their bookings, and the island's hotels and resorts continue to operate at full capacity. The natural beauty of Koh Kood remains untouched, attracting tourists to its beaches and walking streets. The Trat Provincial Tourism Authority has reported a continuous influx of both Thai and foreign tourists to Koh Kood.
