Jiraporn" confirms that the "Mae Tak" case will not be abandoned by the Consumer Protection Board, revealing that the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) has already made an in-depth resolution on 17 Oct. to bring the victim's gold for comparison with the suspect's gold shop. Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, gave an interview about the progress of the case of 'Mae Tak', the accused in the gold fraud case, saying that on October 17, the transaction committee of the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) had a meeting and made in-depth resolutions on both the Mae Tak and The Icon cases. Therefore, it has not been abandoned. If members of the public believe that they have been damaged in the Mae Tak case, they can file a complaint with the Royal Thai Police. The Central Investigation Bureau has accepted both the Mae Tak and The Icon cases, as well as other cases. The reporter asked about the case of Mae Tak's gold that the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB) had brought to be inspected and the percentage of gold was in line with the standard and was not fake gold as alleged. What action would the OCPB take next? Ms. Jiraporn said that those were examples where the OCPB went to the gold shop and collected evidence of only 6 samples. The results were both 99.99 percent and over 70 percent. However, the Royal Thai Police, through the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD), has also taken the victim's gold for testing, which will be used to compare it with samples previously collected from Mae Tak gold shop.
