Bangkok: The government is preparing a plan to facilitate the King and Queen as they embark on an official visit abroad. Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, Government Spokesperson, discussed the preparations on the Voice of the Thai Hearts program.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, chaired a meeting dedicated to ensuring the success of the royal visit. The meeting involved multiple agencies working together to ensure the visit proceeds smoothly and honors the royal couple appropriately.
The Prime Minister has established a committee to oversee preparations, with Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul appointed as the Minister of Honor. This role involves coordinating efforts and maintaining oversight to ensure the visit aligns with traditional practices during royal visits to other countries. The visit is recognized as an official event in the current reign.
