Mr. Settha Thavisin, Prime Minister, assigned Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, to chair a meeting to follow up on the improvement of the integrated state land boundary map, scale 1:4000 (One Map), together with relevant agencies such as the Office of the Civil Service Commission, the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, the Office of the National Land Policy Committee, the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, the Agricultural Land Reform Office, the Royal Thai Survey Department. Mr. Chai Wachirong, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the meeting acknowledged and considered important issues such as general information about One Ma p, the results of operations by 44 provinces that have adjusted their boundaries and 33 provinces that are in the process of implementing it, and solving One Map problems in each area, such as the Nan River Self-Reliance Settlement and Khao Yai. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce has given operational policies on the guidelines and results of the One Map land boundary map improvement to relevant agencies as follows: 1. Assign the National Land Policy Committee Office (NLPC) to propose to the Cabinet for approval to appoint an advisory working group on the integrated land boundary map improvement of 1:4000 scale or CEO One Map. 2. Assign 13 relevant agencies (Treasury Department, Land Department, Royal Forest Department, National Park Department, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, ALRO, Land Development Department, Cooperative Promotion Department, Department of Social Development and Welfare, Department of Provincial Administration, Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission, Royal Tha i Survey Department, and NLPC) to assign representatives to participate in the map improvement to be sufficient, increasing the number of teams per agency to 3 teams (at least 3 people per team) and assigning representatives with decision-making authority to attend every meeting of the One Map subcommittee and relevant working groups. 3. Assign the Office of the Council of State to accept the exemption request issue. Implementation of the Cabinet resolutions on 28 February 2012 and 22 March 2022 of the NBTC for consideration. 4. Assigned 9 agencies with state land to reduce the steps for updating maps at the end of each law, not exceeding 300 days. 5. Assigned the NBTC, together with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE), the Office of the Council of State, and relevant agencies to consider guidelines for using digital maps for the preparation of maps at the end of laws. 6. Assigned the Royal Thai Survey Department to consider creating a 1:4000 scale Ortho Photo map project to be used as a base map to support the results of the One Map operation. 7. Assigned the Office of the Civil Service Commission to determine the improvement of the boundary map. State land (One Map) is a joint KPI of related agencies. 8. Assign the Office of the Civil Service Commission to consider allocating civil servant positions to the NBTC for improving the state land boundary map (One Map). 9. Assign the Ministry of Interior, together with the NBTC, the Department of Provincial Administration, provinces, districts, and local administrative organizations, to create awareness and understanding about One Map and collect data on the impacts on people living in state land. In addition, Mr. Phumtham also thanked and encouraged all agencies that are determined to work on improving the state land boundary map (One Map), which the government is committed to solving the problems of state land boundary and the people and has determined that the integrated improvement of the state land boundary map, scale 1:4000 (One Map) is an important policy that will drive the work to be successful and produce tangible results according to the set goals.
