Mr. Anuchon Mano, a shop employee, said that at first the shop had taken precautions and thought that the flood level would not be as high as in 2011. But this year, it was higher than expected because the water level was as high as his waist. All the fabrics in the shop were damaged and their value could not be estimated. The warehouse behind the shop was also affected. The employer had to sell the fabrics in the shop that were flooded and reduce the price to sell at a loss before ordering new fabrics to sell. The reporter found that many places also had to sell fabrics that had been floo ded at a discount. Customers who came to buy said that they would use them to make clothes, curtains, and bed sheets.
