Ben Tre province is famous for its river and garden tourism, with one outstanding example: the Hai Van farm tourism site - Vam Ho bird sanctuary. The tourism site covers an area of nearly 70 hectares, lying next to Ba Lai river in Ben Tre province, which offers tourists a unique experience of mangrove forest lifestyle. Tourists can enjoy the dishes made from coconuts, Ben Tre's local specialty, such as: coconut rice, coconut fried shrimp, coconut tofu pancakes, and many others.
