East Java: Eight people were killed and several others injured when a tour bus crashed into road dividers and a fence in Indonesia's East Java province.
According to Nam News Network, the bus, carrying about 50 passengers and returning from Mount Bromo, suffered a brake failure while descending a road in Boto village, Probolinggo regency. Slamet A., a member of the regency's disaster agency, reported that seven people died at the scene, and one more succumbed to injuries at a hospital. Several others were wounded in the incident.
The bus was reported to be badly damaged, highlighting the severity of the crash. Emergency services responded to the scene to assist the injured and investigate the cause of the accident further.
