Im portantly, there are still approximately 100 rai of rice fields that have not yet been harvested, even though there have been warnings and some have already been harvested. Mr. Wira Buachan, Sukhothai Provincial Agriculture Officer, who traveled to the area, said that he came to send encouragement to the affected farmers. The water level in the Yom River from last night until this morning has not passed the critical point in all areas because there is a large amount of water to the north from Phrae Province, causing Sukhothai Province to be affected as a result, amidst the strong preventive efforts of many relevant officials, especially the inner economic zone of Sukhothai Municipality, which must monitor the situation in the Yom River 24 hours a day. The latest water level of the Yom River at point Y4 in front of the Sukhothai Provincial Governor's Residence is as high as 7.63 meters, almost reaching the critical point at 8.10 meters.
