Nonthaburi: A 37-year-old woman drove her luxury car in the wrong direction for over 5 kilometers while intoxicated, resulting in a collision with 10 vehicles and injuring one person. Police measured her blood alcohol level at 205 milligrams percent after the incident, which involved two Porsches among the damaged cars.

According to Thai News Agency, the accident took place on the night of September 30th. Officers from Chaiyaphruek Police Station responded to the scene on outbound Ratchaphruek Road, in front of Sammakorn Place Mall in Om Kret Subdistrict, Pak Kret District. They coordinated with volunteers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation to provide necessary assistance.

The collision occurred in the far right lane of Ratchaphruek Road. Among the five vehicles directly involved were a Porsche 911 Carrera and a Porsche Cayenne S, both bearing Bangkok license plates. The BMW, driven by the suspect, was found approximately 1 km away on the Khlong Bang Bua Thong bridge, having sustained significant front-end damage after a head-on collision with a coconut-laden pickup truck. Mr. Chairat, a passenger in the pickup, suffered injuries. Additional damage included a black Mitsubishi sedan, and a collision between a sedan and a taxi, both attempting to avoid the BMW.

Upon questioning, the woman, who was responsible for the incident, provided incoherent statements. She acknowledged the collisions but appeared intoxicated, admitting to having consumed alcohol.
