He confessed that he had just been released from prison for drug offenses in Phitsanulok Province and was staying with friends at the Khon Kaen boxing camp, receiving methamphetamine to sell, hoping to establish himself.

According to Thai News Agency, investigators from the Khon Kaen Provincial Police and Narcotics Suppression Division raided a boxing camp in Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province, arresting Mr. Pramuan, 42, and seizing 141,000 methamphetamine pills hidden in a plastic box and a mobile phone.

During the investigation, Mr. Pramuan testified that he had just been released from Phitsanulok Provincial Prison in February on drug charges. He contacted a man named "Mr. Sao" over the phone to buy methamphetamine pills, buying them for 15,000 baht per bundle and then selling them for 20,000 baht, or 8-9 baht per pill. He had only recently moved into the boxing camp, having a friend who had been released from prison and was living there, so he asked to stay with him, hoping to start a business selling methamphetamine pills.
