Bangkok: "Dr. Air" and her associates are contesting allegations in a drug trafficking case, maintaining their innocence. The court has set an evidence review for October 20. According to Thai News Agency, the Criminal Court on Ratchadaphisek Road has scheduled the examination of defendants in case number Y1719/2025. The prosecutor from the Office of Narcotics Cases 9 has accused Pol. Lt. Col. Dr. Anchulee Thirawongpaisan, known as Dr. Air, along with her associates, as joint defendants 1-12. They are accused of conspiring to commit serious narcotics offenses. The charges include distributing psychotropic substances such as zolpidem, alprazolam, and flunitrazepam without permission, which allegedly led to public dissemination. They are also accused of distributing Category 4 psychotropic substances, including colcenapam and clorazepate, without authorization, and being civil servants involved in these offenses. During the investigation, all defendants denied the charges. Prison officials today escorted the defendants, who were denied bail, to court. The court read and explained the charges, ensuring the defendants understood them before asking for their plea. Pol. Col. Dr. Anchulee and her associates continued to deny all charges. Consequently, the court has arranged a session for evidence examination from both parties on October 20th at 9:00 AM.
