Bangkok: The court's examination of witnesses in the "Tangmo" case has not yet been completed, with another appointment scheduled for February 13. Lawyer Decha Kittiwittayanan revealed that the witness examination is ongoing, with the next session expected to be the last for testimonies. Lawyer Pornsak declined to comment on the submission of an investigation into contempt of court and the simulation of the incident where Tangmo fell off the boat.
According to Thai News Agency, Lawyer Decha Kittiwittayanan stated after examining the defendant's witness that the morning session featured testimony from Kratik Idsarin. Kratik provided details about the events on the boat, including alcohol consumption, seating arrangements, and how a wine glass broke. The examination of Kratik is expected to continue into the afternoon, with unresolved issues to be addressed by the end of the day. The examination of another witness, Mr. Phim, is scheduled for February 13, after which the court will deliberate before reaching a verdict.
The courtroom atmosphere remained calm, with Tangmo's mother, Ms. Panida, expressing her reluctance to speak with the media. She cited concerns over potential backlash and the impact it might have on the case's outcome.
Lawyer Phonsak noted that the day's witness examination had not been completed, indicating that the case proceedings were progressing as usual. He also mentioned that no information had been provided concerning the investigation of contempt of court.
