Bangkok: The Constitutional Court has convened to determine the fate of Pichet Chuamuangphan, who is slated to be appointed as Prime Minister in his own area. The court's judges began their meeting to provide oral statements and conduct a vote before delivering the verdict at 3:00 p.m.
According to Thai News Agency, the case involves a petition filed by 121 members of the House of Representatives. They have requested the Constitutional Court's consideration and adjudication under Section 144, paragraph three of the Constitution. The matter pertains to Mr. Pichet Chuamuangphan, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, who endorsed the implementation of projects and budget proposals for the Office of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives.
