Citizens Demand Agricultural Land Solutions, Prime Minister’s Secretary Steps In

BANGKOK: A group of citizens gathered to demand a meeting with Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra, urging the government to address unresolved issues concerning agricultural land. The incident occurred following the announcement of the Prime Minister's 3-month performance report, which was delivered in a session attended by various government officials and area governors. According to Thai News Agency, the group assembled outside the performance announcement room, where Ms. Shinawatra was engaged in discussions with six working groups. The citizens voiced their frustration, stating that previous complaints to several agencies regarding agricultural land issues had gone unanswered. Their calls for resolution prompted Dr. Prommin Lertsuriyadej, the Prime Minister's Secretary, to intervene on behalf of the government. Dr. Lertsuriyadej met with the demonstrators and accepted their request, assuring them that the matter would be addressed. Following this negotiation, the group disbanded and departed the pre mises.
