Chada Thaised Urges Thai Government to Focus on Governance, Not Political Taunting

Bangkok: In a fervent social media post, Mr. Chada Thaised, a Member of Parliament for Uthai Thani from the Bhumjaithai Party, has called on the Thai government to prioritize governance over political rivalries.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chada expressed his discontent on his Facebook page, criticizing the government for its perceived vengeful approach towards the opposition rather than addressing pressing national issues.

Mr. Chada emphasized the need for the government, particularly the Cabinet, to support the temporarily suspended Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra and concentrate on solving urgent problems facing the nation, such as drug abuse, agricultural product pricing, and online gambling. He urged the government to move beyond internal conflicts and focus instead on productive governance that benefits the Thai people.

He further highlighted that despite the suspension, the Pheu Thai Party still has capable candidates like Mr. Chaikasem Nitisiri and others, who are ready to lead the coalition government. Mr. Chada criticized the current political climate where focus seems to be on political maneuvering rather than actionable solutions for farmers and other key issues.

Additionally, Mr. Chada addressed the government's stance on constitutional amendments, stating that the Bhumjaithai Party is committed to participating in the amendments, excluding Chapters 1 and 2. He also spoke on the controversial amnesty law, clarifying that while the Bhumjaithai Party supports reconciliation, it excludes any changes related to Section 112.

Mr. Chada concluded by urging the government to act decisively on national matters, such as the cannabis law for medical purposes, and to ensure transparency and factual communication with the public. He reaffirmed the Bhumjaithai Party's support for the budget expenditure process for the fiscal year 69, emphasizing their cooperative stance despite being in opposition.

The call to action is a reminder of the importance of cohesive governance and the necessity for political entities to work together for the greater good of the country.
