Bangkok: The Deputy Commander of the Central Investigation Bureau has revealed significant progress in the investigation concerning 'Madam Oi'. The inquiry, which has been underway for an extensive 12-hour period, aims to consolidate the details of the case, with plans to summon additional witnesses for further questioning. According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Col. Suwat Saengnum, the deputy commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau, disclosed that the prolonged interrogation of Ms. Jatuporn Ubonlert, known as Madam Oi, was conducted to resolve outstanding issues from previous investigations. The urgency of the interrogation was emphasized, given that Madam Oi is scheduled to travel abroad today, which could complicate further questioning if unresolved matters persist. The investigation primarily focused on significant financial transactions, specifically examining four money lines amounting to 71 million, 9 million, 13 million, and 39 million. These inquiries are essential for completing the comp rehensive investigation report. Despite inquiries regarding a will related to the case, Pol. Lt. Col. Suwat stated that this aspect remains underexplored as it has not yet been linked to any criminal activity. In the coming days, individuals connected to the four incidents, as well as those possessing pertinent information, will be summoned for additional questioning. However, Pol. Lt. Col. Suwat refrained from disclosing specific details regarding the identities or the timing of these questioning sessions. A meeting with investigators involved in Ms. Oi's case is scheduled to take place today at 10:00 a.m., underlining the bureau's commitment to advancing the investigation.
