Chachoengsao, More than 20 Myanmar workers from different camps attacked and beat up a fellow worker from his own country, resulting in one death. The deceased's friends were angry and ran after them, unable to catch up. They could only attack and destroy the perpetrators' motorcycles until they were completely destroyed. Officers from Bang Pakong Police Station, Chachoengsao Province, along with more than 30 detectives, went to investigate a fight between Myanmar workers in Soi Chan Charoen School, Tambon Tha Sa-an, Amphoe Bang Pakong. They found Myanmar workers fighting in a chaotic scene. At the scene, the body of Mr. Metdu, a Myanmar national, was found stabbed twice in the left side with a knife and lying in a pool of his own blood. His fellow workers in the camp were all frantic, chasing after the perpetrators and smashing their motorcycles, causing complete damage. Officers tried to quell the chaos until the situation was calm, but the perpetrators ran away into the darkness. From the investigation, Mr. Niran, 37 years old, a security guard at the Myanmar worker camp, said that there were about 450 foreign workers in the camp. There was a group of 20 Myanmar workers about 500 meters away who came into the camp with knives and irons. Then they ran and attacked each other chaotically. Before Mr. Metdu was caught by the group of perpetrators who stabbed him twice with knives. He lay in a pool of blood and died. This made his friends in the camp angry and chased after the group of perpetrators. But because it was dark, the perpetrators escaped but left their motorcycles behind.
