Bangkok: 'Bing Lin Wu', a suspect in the China Railway Company nominee case, which resulted in the Office of the Auditor General building collapsing, has surrendered to the DSI and denied all charges.

According to Thai News Agency, progress has been made in the case concerning the offense under the Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542, involving China Railway Number 10 (Thailand) Co., Ltd., known as the nominee case linked to the State Audit Office building collapse. The DSI had previously sent the case file to the Special Case Prosecutor and issued an indictment order. Recently, Mr. Bing Lin Wu, a Chinese investor and the last suspect who had evaded authorities, surrendered to DSI investigators. Accompanied by a legal team, he denied all charges and intends to provide a statement to clarify the allegations to the Special Case Prosecutor within 30 days. He claimed ignorance of the arrest warrant and stated he had been in Thailand for the past month. Upon learning of the warrant, he chose to surrender.

When Mr. Wu appeared before the investigator, he was promptly taken to the special prosecutor's office. For any temporary release, he must apply to the prosecutor, as the DSI has already forwarded the case file. The special prosecutor's office is now responsible for bringing the suspect to court within the stipulated time frame.
