Bhumjaithai Party Highlights Anutin Charnvirakul’s Journey as 32nd Prime Ministerial Candidate

Bangkok: Bhumjaithai Party has unveiled the history and achievements of Anutin Charnvirakul, who has been put forward as the 32nd Prime Ministerial candidate. The announcement comes after Mr. Anutin, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, declared the successful formation of a government at Parliament with the backing of the Prachachon Party, which announced its support by listing 146 MPs in favor of Mr. Anutin's candidacy.

According to Thai News Agency, following these developments, the Bhumjaithai Party's Facebook page promptly shared a photograph and detailed biography of Anutin Charnvirakul. The post emphasized his candidacy for the position of the 32nd Prime Minister. Mr. Anutin's educational background includes studies at Assumption College in Bangkok, Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Hofstra University in New York, USA.

Mr. Anutin's career began in 1989 as a Production Engineer at Mitsubishi Corporation in New York. He subsequently held roles such as Technical Analyst at the Industrial Finance Corporation of Thailand and General Manager at Sino-Thai Construction Service Co., Ltd. and STP and I Public Company Limited. His leadership skills were further demonstrated during his time as Managing Director of Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction Public Company Limited from 1995 to 2004. In his political career, he served in various capacities, including Deputy Minister of Public Health and Commerce, and held the positions of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health from 2019 to 2023, followed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior until June 2025.

In addition to his political career, Mr. Anutin is known for his business acumen and his role as a volunteer pilot for the "Heart with Wings" project. His political ideology focuses on constitutional amendments to promote democracy, adhering to justice, and reducing state power for the people's benefit. He supports a democratic regime with the King as Head of State and advocates for amnesty as a means of reconciliation. Mr. Anutin was also a prime ministerial candidate for the Bhumjaithai Party in the 2019 and 2023 elections.
